Schon seit einiger Zeit beklage ich mich über Hollywood, da die grossen Blockbuster Produktionen meist nur noch Forsetzungen oder Remakes sind. Deshalb habe ich mich ganz besonders über den Streifen Hancock gefreut, da ich die Idee vom “Arschloch-Superhelden” sehr vielversprechend fand.

Ein Actionfilm geladen mit zynischen Sprüchen und eiskaltem Humor müsste man denken. Doch dem ist leider nur etwa die ersten 10min so, zwischendurch taucht zwar immermal wieder guter Witz auf, doch im grossen und ganzen zieht sich der Film ins nirgendwo.

Wenn ich genauer darüber nachdenke ist klar weshalb. Die Hauptstory, vom arroganten, allgemein gehassten Superhelden der einen Imagewechsel durchmacht, hat einfach zu wenig Fleisch am Knochen um einen Spielfilm zu füllen. Deshalb wird der Film mit Szenen gestreckt die viel zu dramahaft sind für eine Actionkomödie. Bei Spiderman 2 passt das ja vielleicht, aber nicht bei Hancock. Auch sonst wird die eigentliche Hauptstory immer wieder mit irgendwelchen Füllthemen gestreckt und man vergisst irgendwie welcher der vier roten Fäden der richtige ist. Mal geht’s um das, dann wieder um das und plötzlich ist noch eine andere Situation im Mittelpunkt.

Für diejenigen die den Film nicht gesehen haben, mag das jetzt vielleicht etwas wirr klingen, aber ich will diesen Personen schliesslich nicht den Film versauen. Könnte ja sein, dass er euch besser gefällt und da will und kann ich nicht die ganze Story erzählen nur um meine Sätze zu erläutern

Wie dem auch sei, ich hatte eine völlig andere Art von Film erwartet und finde die Bezeichnung Actionkomödie schlicht und einfach falsch. Ich würde es eher ein “humorvolles Drama mit vielen Specialeffects” nennen.

Seit einiger Zeit ist der Release Candidate 1 des neuen Firefox online verfügbar. Als überzeugter Firefox benutzer musste ich natürlich zugreifen und das gute Stück testen. Der Mozilla Browser muss sich nun nicht mehr vor dem Safari verstecken.

Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig ist die neue Adresszeile die nicht nur die History sondern auch Bookmarks durchsucht. Das heisst es wird neu die ganze Adresse (und Pagetitle) durchsucht. Nach kurzer eingewöhnungszeit ist das neue Feature sehr praktisch. Denn wie häufig kann man sich noch daran erinnern wie die Domain einer Seite hiess die man vor einigen Tagen gefunden hat.

Es gibt viele kleine Änderungen die ich jetzt nicht alle breit schlagen will. Aber etwas will doch erwähnt sein. Nämlich dass es wieder keinen anständigen RSS Reader mit an Bord hat. Mit anderen Worten es ist noch immer alles wie gehabt. Klar, es gibt genügend Extensions die das akzeptabel umsetzen, aber ein tauglicher RSS Reader dürfte meiner Meinung nach auch so dabei sein.

Natürlich sind noch nicht alle Extension für die neue Version bereit, aber es dauert ja auch noch eine Weile bis die endgültige Version verfügbar ist. Ihr habt also alle Zeit genug euch für den Weltrekordversuch vorzubereiten!

Kennt ihr das auch? Es gibt Kultfilme die ihr schon zig dutzend mal gesehen habt. Bei mir zum Beispiel die Indiana Jones Reihe, oder die Star Wars Trilogie, Braveheart und natürlich Back to the Future. Als Fernseh- und prä-DVD-Kind habe ich diese Filme meist synchronisiert gesehen und nichtsdestotrotz lieben gelernt.

Auch wenn Gwyneth Paltrow und Robert Downey Jr. nicht gerade zu meinen favorisierten Schauhspielern gehören ist der Film für mich das neue Mass was lockere Abendunterhaltung betrifft. Eine schlichte und durchschaubare Story, sehr sympathische Figuren und eine geballte Ladung Action, was will man mehr.

Der Film versucht weder den Moralapostel zu spielen, noch als Supermegastreifen in die Geschichte einzugehen. Er tut vor allem eines und zwar unterhalten: ohne wenn und aber. Ein Popcorn Actionfilm wie im Lehrbuch. Ähnlich cool wie The Punisher oder X-Men III.
